Major restrictions on entry and exit related to COVID-19 <Canada>

All foreigners are prohibited from entering Canada. However, these regulations are applicable to Canadian permanent residents, U.S. citizens, temporary foreign workers, some international students, transit passengers (requires staying in the safe transit area at Canadian airports), diplomats and immediate family members, air/sea crew members, Canadian residents for the purpose of national interest, Corona 19 This does not apply to persons invited by the Health Bureau for quarantine support purposes, and travelers for medical support purposes.

Effective June 8, 2020, immediate family members of Canadian citizens/permanent residents may enter Canada if the following conditions are met:

1) Non-confirmed persons without corona 19 symptoms

2) Entry to the country for the purpose of joining with immediate family members

3) Stay in Canada for at least 15 days. Additional subjects may be allowed to enter the country only for essential purposes.

***  Close the Canada-US border for all non-essential travel.
